What types of events can our banquet hall be used for?

White Diamond can be rented for weddings, receptions, business conferences, holiday celebrations, family reunions, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, bridal showers, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinner’s, graduation ceremonies, church functions, school dances, company picnics, team building activities, fundraisers, banquets, wedding rehearsals, and much more.

How much does it cost to rent White Diamond Conference Center?

Please contact us at (403) 951-4000 to inquire about our fees for renting our banquet facility in Downtown Calgary.

While you are likely to spend more renting our facility compared to a traditional community hall, consider the time you will save by leaving the difficult and time-consuming planning to us. You will be come a guest at your own event, and leave the meal prep, decorations and set up of the space, late-evening clean up and everything else up to us!

White Diamond is a full-service event facility offering a wide array of services to enhance your event, including:

Full catering service with various menus, including vegan/gluten-friendly meal options
Full bar service (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks)
Projectors with projection screens

Various décor options to dress up your event space
Dance floor and lighting for parties

Are there hotels nearby?

Yes, White Diamond is close to two major hotels in the downtown core.

Both hotels are within walking distance from our venue.

Are COVID-19 protocols in place at White Diamond Conference Center?

Yes, we are following the guidance from Alberta Health Services by enforcing the Restrictions Exemption Program, including mandatory masking. This means that our guests will need to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of a negative test result.

What types of décor would I find at White Diamond?

White Diamond is a modern space with elegant finishes throughout. Our venue can be easily converted from a corporate venue (boasting a corporate feel) to one of beautiful, lavish finishes for weddings and special events.

Can we bring our own decorations to White Diamond for our event?

No, we do not allow any outside decorations. That being said, we do have a variety of decoration options available, and have the ability to customize based on your vision.

Is a DJ or music service available?

We do not supply DJ services, but you are welcome to hire your own and bring them with you to your event.

I have a small group for our event, and we won’t require a large event space. Can we still have our event at White Diamond?

We can host parties, meetings, weddings and any other type of event with guest sizes ranging from 100 to as many as 500 for larger events. If you have a small guest list (100 or more), contact us today to inquire about options available, which includes a split setting (half room) for your smaller event.

  My wife and I have no words that would be enough to express our gratitude to White Diamond Conference Centre. They have been amazing and very accommodating. They made our dream wedding come true! Ravi and his team were easy to work with and did an amazing job accommodating our cultural needs. Our wedding was very unique and multicultural. We highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a customize wedding to their liking. Special thanks to the kitchen staff for the amazing food. All of our guests were satisfied and happy. Special thanks to the decoration team for all the surprises and listening to our needs. They executed every small detail or the decoration just the way we wanted it.   Ravi, Karan, Rohee and Atinderpal, as well as the rest of the staff, made the vision for our reception come to life effortlessly. Working with them was super easy, and they were able to provide a lot of helpful information and suggestions for the event. The décor was beautiful, the food was great, and the service was amazing.   I have attended a couple events at white diamond and they have both been exceptional. The staff are all wonderful, the venue is beautiful, and they really go out of your way to ensure you have the best experience. Bonus: they offer so much variety in their menus - there is definitely something for everyone. I would without a doubt recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan an event.

  Where do I begin! From the planning stages to the day of our reception, Ravi and Rohee went above and beyond for us! Planning a wedding reception during uncertain times was a roller coaster in itself but from the food, decor to the exceptional service and we're so grateful for the team at White Diamond who took care of EVERYTHING. Not only did we and our guests have the time of our lives at our reception, but the phenomenal customer service provided by WD, we couldn't recommend them enough.
